Anay Abreu is the Director at Sampoorna College of Ayurveda. Anay is an established Ayurvedic practitioner, experienced Yoga teacher, body and energy worker practicing professionally in the Florida area. Anay’s introduction into the healing sciences began with an interest in yoga that 17 years ago brought her to the Sivananda Ashram in Uttaranchal, India, where she accepted her first certification as a yoga teacher and was introduced to Ayurveda and other healing modalities.
Anay was awarded certification as an Ayurvedic Practitioner after completing a Vedic Science degree program that took her to Kerala, India for training in Panchakarma, Herbology and clinical diagnostics.
Anay earned her Associate in Ayurveda at SaiAyurvedic College and has studied under Dr. VaidyaAshleshaRaut BAMS, AparnaBapat BAMS and Vasant Lad BAMS. Further training has also enabled her to complete intensive practicums on pulse diagnosis and MarmaChikitsa. She continues to study Ayurveda on a weekly basis with VaidyaAshleshaRaut, also at Apthasree Ayurveda Hospital and clinic in Kerala with Dr. Prapanch and Jyotisha under the tutelage of Penny Farrow.
