It is a highly modified procedure for ophthalmic medication. In this method medicine is filled in the eye for a prescribed time.

Indication

  • Restricted movements of the eyes
  • Dry eyes
  • Ocular injury
  • In atrophic conditions of Dristi patala and Dristi nadi
  • Contraindications
  • Kapha predominant disorders
  • Infective diseases
  • In diseases where nasya,swedana etc are contraindicated
  • Cloudy days
  • Hot or cold season
  • Chinta, aayasa, bhaya, soka
  • If any complications

1) Poorvakarma

2)  Kaya shuddi

3)  Sira shuddi
